Skegness Conservative Policy Forum Group (CPF) gives members and friends of the local Conservatives a unique chance to have their say on Conservative Party Policy.
It is a way of the national Party engaging with the views of its grass roots. The group discusses policy briefs sent by Party HQ and then reports back its findings. Feedback is given from relevant Shadow Ministers etc. and many proposals from local groups find their way into the Party's General Election manifestos.
Sometimes the group will also hold discussions on important local issues.
Meetings are held at the North Shore Hotel, Skegness, led by the group's chairman, John Cowpe. Anyone who supports conservative principles, whether or not they are Party members, is welcome to attend.
The discussions are conducted in an inclusive and friendly manner, with all invited to air their views.
There is also a chance for individuals to join the CPF nationally and take part in regular online seminars, usually fronted by Shadow Ministers.
