At the Skegness Conservative Men’s Branch AGM held at the Crown Hotel on March 25, 1974, Cllr Dr David Pendrigh retired as chairman after serving 11 consecutive years in the post. Cllr Harry Hall proposed a vote of thanks to him. This was seconded by Cllr Denys Hudson, who said Cllr Dr Pendrigh had been a credit to the branch. Cllr Hudson was elected as the new chairman
