The idea of a multi-storey car park on the Lawn Park, Skegness, was muted at a meeting of the Skegness Men’s Branch Political Committee on January 21, 1970, The committee also recommended that Conservative councillors on Skegness Urban District Council should press for preferential parking facilities for local ratepayers to be available at all times with the exception of Sundays and Bank Holidays
