At Skegness Men’s Branch meeting on February 7, 1977, the Supper Club convenor, Mr Fitzjohn, reported that 104 people had attended the February Supper Club meeting when the guest speaker had been the Sheriff of Nottingham, Mrs Grace Roberts. He said that an additional 50 tickets could have been sold had the space been available at the Crown Hotel.
